Ted Cruz Puts Ilhan Omar On Notice After She Called Soleimani A “Foreign Official” Not A Terrorist

Ted Cruz is done playing games with Ilhan Omar and other Democrats who have condemned President Trump’s drone strike in Iraq.

Trump, acting on intelligence that more attacks against America and our allies were coming, acted first to neutralize the threat.

The left went crazy and showed all Americans who they truly are. Ilhan Omar for one refused to call this target a terrorist and instead said Trump “assassinated a foreign official.”

Not even close, Ilhan. Enter Ted Cruz.

“According the the Obama Department of Defense, Qasem Soleimani was a terrorist directly responsible for the murder of over 500 US service men & women. Why are congressional Dems outraged that he’s finally dead?” Ted said.

From The Washington Examiner:

A day after saying Congress must “step in and stop” President Trump after he instructed U.S. forces to kill top Iranian Gen. Qassem Soleimani and Iraqi militia leader Abu Mahdi al Muhandis, Rep. Ilhan Omar said she was “outraged the president would assassinate a foreign official.”

Responding to a tweet from Sen. Ted Cruz that called Soleimani a “terrorist,” Omar, 38, used the word “foreign official” to describe one of America’s top adversaries.

“We are outraged the president would assassinate a foreign official, possibly setting off another war without Congressional authorization and has zero plan to deal with the consequences,” the Minnesota Democrat wrote. “But of course you know that.”

Cruz, 49, slammed former President Barack Obama’s Iran policy, which he claimed included sending the Middle Eastern country “$1.7 billion in unmarked bills.”
